language for fall semester, 2023.Position Summary: The University of Puget Sound invites applications for an adjunct faculty member in Chinese language for fall semester, 2023.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: Teaching load is two language courses for the fall semester.Qualifications: Candidates must have a Master’s degree; the area of specialization is open, with a preference for language pedagogy or linguistics. Preference will be given to those with experience teaching Chinese language at the undergraduate level.Compensation and Benefits: Rank: Adjunct Faculty
Adjunct pay scale for this position is $10,400 - $10,920 for two courses.Puget Sound offers a generous benefits package for eligible staff employees, including:

-Positions that work less than .50 FTE (1,040 hours per year) will accrue paid sick leave but are not eligible for additional benefits.
