Position Summary:

Reporting to the Associate Dean and Executive Director of Online Programs, the Director of Admissions and Recruitment for Online Programs oversees strategic planning and operations for admissions and recruitment of online graduate degrees and certificates with the Mason School of Business. The Director ensures enrollment goals are met and that there is a personalized and seamless experience for applicants pursuing education in our growing portfolio of programs.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Make data-driven decisions to identify new opportunities to recruit students and drive enrollment growth; while managing a team of two.
  • Proactively discover the needs of prospective students and advise/guide them on the program, curriculum, fees, admissions requirements, application procedures, and financial aid availability.
  • Evaluate and report on trends and developments to inform strategies and establish priorities.
  • Develop and implement policies and processes needed for admissions/enrollment success and oversee marketing and communication plans for the programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • A master’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and or experience.
  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as Ellucian Banner CRM, Target X, Salesforce, or a similar system.
  • Extensive experience in admissions, recruitment, sales, or a similar industry.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using web conferencing tools, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting recruitment or sales goals.
  • Proven customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Experience using analytics and KPIs to set goals and drive performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous successful experience generating revenue through online initiatives and/or graduate business school admissions.

Advertised Pay Range:

$90,000 - $100,000 commensurate with equity and experience

  • Subject to hours that extend beyond the normal work hours to include weekend, holiday work, and project requirements.
