Position Summary:

The Mason School of Business is seeking applicants for an Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions for the Master of Accounting Program. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate and Residential Specialty Master’s Programs, the Associate Director is responsible for ensuring the successful attraction, recruitment, matriculation, and retention of high-caliber domestic and international students for the Raymond A Business School Masters of Accounting (MAcc) program. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the annual objectives and enrollment goals of the program are met.
  • Execute planned initiatives to identify and recruit an excellent and diverse student body.
  • Travel both internationally and domestically to recruit student prospects.
  • Interview and evaluate applicants for admission and distribute scholarships in an equitable and ethical manner.
  • Ensure that all admitted students successfully complete prerequisites and work collaboratively with the Student Services team to ensure a smooth transition for those newly admitted.
  • This position will also promote other graduate programs in the Raymond A. Mason School of Business.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and or experience.
  • Experience working in one or more of the following: university admissions, corporate recruiting, strategic selling, or another relevant industry sector.
  • Experience using a Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) .
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing, recruitment, marketing, or sales plans to attract customers or students.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in higher education student recruitment, admissions, or student services.
  • Experience managing and implementing student recruitment projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting recruitment or sales goals.
  • Master’s degree in a business, accounting, higher education, or a related degree of study.

Advertised Pay Range:

Up to $80,000 commensurate with experience - plus a sign-on bonus up to $2,000

  • This position may require additional work hours beyond the typical 40-hour work week including evening and weekend work as well as work over some university-recognized holidays.
  • The position is required to travel extensively and consecutively for significant periods of time throughout the calendar year both internationally and domestically.
