Suburban Hospital has an immediate opportunity for a Preventative Maintenance Mechanic. Non-exempt. Starting hourly rate is $22.00 to $29.00, based on experience (plus applicable shift differentials)

As Preventative Maintenance Mechanic, you will:

Performs functions in keeping with safe hospital and industrial standards and practices.
Will be required to work a varied schedule in keeping with the time schedule of the availability of the equipment to be maintained.

We are hiring for:

1st Shift: 7 am-3:30 pm

2nd Shift: 3 pm-11:30 pm

3rd Shift: 11 pm-7:30 am

Weekly schedule will run Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. Some on-call work required.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.

Attendance at a trade school for in an electrical or HVAC program is preferred.

EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:

1 year of experience in preventive maintenance preferred; experience in a hospital a plus.
