Position Summary::The successful candidate will primarily teach courses ranging amongst college algebra, precalculus and trigonometry, and calculus. An ideal candidate will also have some experience coordinating multi-section courses, teaching in both large and small lectures, have some experience with learning management systems (such as Blackboard), and have some experience teaching online classes. Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field with at least 18 credit hours of graduate level mathematics.
The Mathematics Department at The University of Alabama invites applications for one renewable full-time instructor position. The appointment will begin on August 16, 2023 and is a two-year term with the possibility of renewal based on funding, availability, and performance.
