Description

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Department of Education invites applicants to apply for a faculty position as Assistant Professor of Education (tenure track). The successful candidate will assume responsibility for providing 27 credit hours of instruction in Education per academic year. The Assistant Professor will teach courses in undergraduate, graduate and online programs; conduct research in his/her areas of specialization; perform student advisement; serve on University and School of Education committees; perform other duties within the scope of the position.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of a PhD degree in Education, Special Education or equivalent is required. The candidate should be qualified to teach undergraduate, graduate, and online courses. The candidate is expected to conduct research in his/her area of specialization. Other responsibilities include student advisement, serving on University and School of Education Committees and performing other duties within the scope of the position. Must possess the ability to teach effectively using a variety of methods, relate to diverse students, and facilitate student learning.

RATE OF PAY: $58,710/year
