The University of Lynchburg, a private regional university, located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in central Virginia is seeking a full-time Director of Admissions to join our Enrollment Services team.
The Director of Admissions reports to, is supervised by, and evaluated by the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management. The evaluation of work performance will be ongoing and will be carried out by the Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management. It will include the specific duties and responsibilities of this position description plus employee attitude and general working behavior.
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt, Benefits Eligible
Job Purpose: Assist the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management in providing leadership and supervision for the admissions staff.
Specific Job Duties:
- Assists the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management in supervising the enrollment staff (admissions) and staff evaluations.

- 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday
Qualifications Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, or recruitment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in higher education, marketing or related field.
