The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine is seeking a Pulmonologist (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor of Clinical Medicine) to support the Sleep Medicine Program. This faculty position will simultaneously teach as they provide clinical care, as they will be accompanied by medical students, residents, and fellows in an outpatient clinic setting. Faculty rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications.

Essential Functions

Support the Sleep Medicine Program at UC Health facilities, with UC Health Holmes Hospital as the primary location, by engaging in the following activities:

  • Contributing to ambulatory and hospital-based care.
  • Maintaining active engagement in our education and training missions.
  • Participating in quality improvement, safety, and clinical projects in Sleep Medicine.
  • Treating Sleep Medicine patients while accompanied by learners such as UC Medical Students and UC Medical Center (UCMC) Residents and Fellows.
  • Interpreting sleep studies.
  • Participating in a pro rata amount of on-call coverage.
  • Providing back-up coverage on Pulmonary inpatient services, as needed.
Minimum RequirementsPrior to effective date of appointment, must have all of the following:

  • MD or DO degree.
  • Completed 3-Year Internal Medicine Residency.
  • Completed 2-Year Pulmonary Fellowship.
  • Completed 1-Year Sleep Medicine Fellowship.
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
  • Current unrestricted Ohio Medical License.
