Minimum Qualifications:Candidates must have a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Information Systems or a related discipline from an AACSB accredited university or international equivalent at the time of appointment. Candidates with a Master’s degree must document exceptional accomplishments in management information systems and must be approved for a terminal degree exception before hire.
Position Summary:The Department of Management Information Systems in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track faculty position at the lecturer, senior lecturer, or principal lecturer level. This position is expected to be 100% instruction at the undergraduate and graduate levels with an anticipated start date that could be as early as August 1, 2023.
Additional Requirements:The position is renewable based on performance and promotion is possible after six years of service. Participation in the life of the department, e.g., committee membership, is expected of all faculty.
Qualified candidates will have a demonstrated ability to teach “Intro to IS” or “System Analysis and Design” at the undergraduate or graduate level. Ability to teach in the areas of FinTech, Business Process Management, or Project Management would also be a plus.
