Position Summary:Prairie State College seeks experienced adjunct faculty to teach introductory courses. Successful candidates will have a desire to educate students about Spanish language and culture. Specifically looking to staff for the Fall 2023 semester for a TTH 7:00-8:40 pm SPAN 101 course and possibly a MW 12:30-1:45 pm SPAN 101 course. If there are questions, please contact Professor Teresa McCann (tmccann@prairiestate.edu) regarding eligibility.
Minimum Qualifications:This course requires a Master’s degree in Spanish, or a Master’s degree in a similar field with 18 graduate credit hours in Spanish. Must be fluent in Spanish. Technology experience, Desire 2 Learn (Course Management System) experience and previous teaching experience (at the college level) a plus.
