Job Summary:

The Grant Coordinator position will report to the Vice President for Workforce Development and Continuing Education. This position will manage the College’s Phase 1 award under the Build Back Better Regional Challenge.

The Grant Coordinator will be responsible for data collection, report writing, attendance at economic development meetings throughout the area. They will also counsel students regarding the economic benefits of various area occupations.

NOTE: This is a grant funded position for a one year assignment.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a related area. Two years of experience on jobs leading to this, or similar jobs.Experience and training can be substituted for education.
Office work experience.
Skills in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Valid state driver’s license.

Bachelors degree with classes in business management.
Experience in Banner Student Information System.
Experience working with customers.
Experience in project management and office management.
Experience in grant coordinator.
Experience working in a college setting.

SALARY :

$45,000; plus excellent benefits & TRS Retirement

Work Hours:

8 am to 5 pm

Create accurate and timely quarterly and annual reports for the Workforce Development and Continuing Education Department.

Participate in regional meetings of economic competitiveness boards as assigned. Establish a coordinated line of communication between regional growth clusters. Serve as the central coordinator of new and existing resources to the benefit of regional competitiveness.
