General Summary of Position:

The Campus Recreation Membership Administrator will be responsible for the following areas:

  • Provide excellent customer service to our Campus Recreation Center and Boathouse members.
  • Provide member cards and give access to the facility and parking lots to users with university software.
  • Communicate with members on facility information, hours, closures, and events.
  • Work with our Part-Time Business Administrator on any open invoices and updated member payment information.
  • Work with our Asst. Director of Fitness & Rec Center Operations on training interns and student staff on collecting memberships.
  • Supervision Received:

    • The Campus Recreation Membership Administrator will directly report to the Associate Director of Campus Recreation.

    Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Update member cards with appropriate access.
    • Review previous day membership sales.
    • Ensure proper documentation and waivers are on file for all members.
    • Run reports on members and facility access.
    • Keep up to date excel and documents related to members.
    • Provide reports on membership revenue and projections.

    Minimum Qualifications (Required):

    • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
    • Preference will be given to candidates with previous sports and recreation administration and handing memberships
