Boston University's Metropolitan College (BU MET), one of the University's 17 degree-granting schools and colleges, provides state-of the art-programs to meet the demands of an evolving workforce. We offer innovative approaches to teaching and a supportive learning environment. BU MET's Marketing Department is seeking a Marketing & Ad Operations Specialist. This position works closely with the Program Marketing team to gather requirements, identify & research opportunities and to plan marketing campaign execution for a large and varied academic program portfolio. Responsibilities include research and planning, execution and production, and media buying and administration. We are a fast-paced office looking for someone who can balance competing priorities, is organized, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills. Required Skills

  • B.A./B.S. in communications, marketing, or related field(s), and one to three years related work experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in search engine marketing.
  • Analyze data and trends, and provide recommendations accordingly.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a short period of time, handle multiple priorities simultaneously, and operate in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented and strong ability to multi-task, prioritize work responsibilities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to effectively work on cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
