Position Summary

The School of Liberal Arts, Department of World Languages, is looking for adjunct faculty who are qualified to teach the Korean Language. Eligible candidates would be responsible for teaching daytime classes in either face-to-face or online synchronous modalities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include: assessing student progress in meeting the learning objectives through formal and informal assessment, meeting required deadlines for submitting grades, attendance, and other information, as requested, and adhering to safety procedures and departmental standards. Other duties include 45 hours of instruction per semester per class, and maintaining online materials in Canvas, AACC’s learning management system.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Korean or related area
• Two years teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Korean or related area
• College-level teaching experience
