Job Summary:

This position will serve as the data analyst for solid organ transplant programs. Work involved will be data aggregation and programming, statistical analysis, creating graphics to display outcomes and summary of data reports. Individual will maintain ongoing databases and respond to ad hoc analyses queries for quality improvement and research priorities.

Key Responsibilities
    Collaborate with UCHealth providers, staff, faculty, as well as other teams, institutions, and resources to design, develop, implement and support quality improvement initiatives. Participate in ongoing quality and research meetings. Work with research director to develop novel analyses for QAPI activities and research queries. Organize data with statistical programming and database maintenance. Ensure accurate progress of data analytic projects from the planning and approval stages through completion and reporting. Manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Participate with and contribute to development of strategy and tactics for the Department of Surgery with Office of Quality Leadership team. Develop routine templates for reports and analysis. Ad hoc reporting as requested. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Entry Professional:
  • Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Intermediate Professional:
  • Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
  • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • One (1) year data management and bioinformatic analyses experience.

  • Senior Professional:
    • Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
    • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • Two (2) years data management and bioinformatic analyses experience.

  • Principal Professional:
    • Bachelor's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
    • A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • Three (3) years data management and bioinformatic analyses experience.

  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computational Biology, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Experience analyzing data using high-performance computing.

    Anticipated Pay Range:

    The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
    • Entry Level: $50,112 - $63,742
    • Intermediate Level: $54,534 - $69,367
    • Senior Level: $58,955 - $74,991
    • Principal Level: $67,799 - $86,240

    The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation depending on the level.
