Salary: $6,158 - $14,225 Monthly

Position Description:
Become a strategic partner in the leadership and guidance of UCLA's Office of Scholarships and Student Support's (SSI) development efforts, as Director of Development Operations. Student Support is a key priority for UCLA and SSI's vision is to secure funding that ensures all students who work hard enough to be able to be admitted into UCLA regardless of background, life experience, financial or socioeconomic status are able to attend and thrive, enabling them to go on to be the leaders, mentors and changemakers they wish to see in their own communities, ensuring a better future for us all. In this role, you will work closely with the Executive Director as an advisor to the development team and administration. This is a remarkable opportunity to use your organizational, analytical, management and administrative abilities. You will be provided the resources to excel in a supportive environment as you guide our efforts to meet and exceed fundraising goals.

As the Director of Development Operations, you will establish goals and objectives for SSI Development, including those for the next university-wide campaign as you work closely with campus administration and colleagues and campus-wide. You will analyze and resolve issues, interpret policies and supervise a staff of professional and support employees to assure accountability and stewardship of operational, financial and human resources. You will help prepare annual operating plans, evaluate progress to goals and navigate internal operations to ensure frontline fundraisers have what they need to cultivate, solicit and steward donors. In conjunction with Development Marketing, you will develop and create fundraising materials to assist with overall development programs. As the Director, you will oversee the team's budget; implementing strong program fund oversight, as well as timely management of funds received, and timely and proper use of gift funds. To ensure the school serves as an efficient and effective steward of philanthropy, you will guide new scholarship and program funds and apprise SSI's campus partners in Enrollment Management, Student Affairs, and Division of Graduate Education of incoming gift funds and stewardship needs. In addition, you will work with the Executive Director on campaign management and other Development projects and be responsible for the management and supervision of our stewardship, events, and administrative team members. We encourage you to join our UCLA SSI Development team in a collaborative and creative role that that offers long-term opportunities for personal and professional development as part of a robust External Affairs enterprise serving UCLA.

**Please note, this is a hybrid position.**
