Head Women’s Track & Field Coach and Professor in Kinesiology, Sport & WellnessIllinois Wesleyan University, a NCAA Division III institution and member of the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin, invites applications for the position of full-time Head Women’s Track and Field Coach and Faculty member in the Kinesiology, Sport & Wellness (KSW) Department.

We are seeking a Head Women’s Track & Field Coach that is committed to excellence in academics, athletics, and service while focusing on developing the whole person. Preference will be given to those candidates that also have a proven track record or skills necessary to recruit top student-athletes that will be a great fit for the institution. The Head Women’s Track & Field coach will work collaboratively with the Director of Track and Field in budgeting, fundraising, meet scheduling, meet management, practice planning and management of assistant coaches. The Head Women’s Track & Field coach is responsible for recruiting, retaining and graduating student-athletes, monitoring student athlete’s academic progress, off-season programs, assisting with public and media relations efforts, coordinating team community service and performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Teaching load will be dependent upon other duties assigned. Successful candidate will adhere to all rules of the CCIW, NCAA, & IWU and will fulfill the requirements and expectations of the Illinois Wesleyan University athletic department.

Requirements:

Minimum of three years experience. Previous coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
