Stanford’s Department of Athletics, Physical Education and Recreation (“DAPER”) is the premier intercollegiate athletics program in the country. We are the proud Home of Champions! We support nearly 900 student-athletes who compete on 36 intercollegiate athletics teams and also support the university’s physical education, recreation and wellness initiatives. We are currently accepting applications for the position of Coordinator/Director of On-Campus Recruiting. This position will report to the Director of Football Recruiting & Player Personnel. Stanford Football is looking for an energetic and positive individual who can meet the demands of supporting a Division I football program. In this role, you will work closely with all levels of the Stanford Football coaching staff and recruiting staff to support and drive all aspects of best-in-class on-campus recruiting for the Football program. This role is a 12-month renewable fixed-term position that is full-time and exempt.

Your responsibilities include:
• Design, plan, implement and coordinate on-campus recruiting activities, including official visits, unofficial visits, and game days.
• Evaluate and select vendors based on stakeholder requirements.
• Develop and implement recruiting operations innovations that deliver unique competitive advantages for Stanford Football.
• Leverage on-campus partners and technologies to create new capabilities and improve efficiencies. Includes the important development of a novel prospect transcript evaluation software program.
• Co-manage the recruiting database with recruiting staff, including incoming prospect communications, recruiting services data and evaluations – both academic and athletic.
• Optimize all facets of input, throughput and output to improve Football recruiting.
• Co-manage the year-round calendar of the prospect evaluation process with recruiting staff, structure and expectations for the Football Coaching Staff.
• Manage elements of the Football recruiting budget and conduct cost-benefit analyses for new and existing opportunities.
• Co-Manage the Football recruiting interns including their scheduling, supervision and development.
• Work collaboratively with the Football Operations staff on team events, game day operations and football camps and clinics.
• Work collaboratively with other DAPER coaches and the football recruiting staff toward multi-sport recruiting events.
• Ensure NCAA and Pac-12 compliance and complete required documentation for all program and coaching staff recruiting activities in liaison with Compliance Services.
• Other duties as assigned.

The expected pay range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000 per annum. Stanford University provides pay ranges representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for a position. The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.

Qualifications:
Associate degree and three years of relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience. Previous experience in intercollegiate or professional sports is preferred.

• Knowledge of or ability to learn NCAA rules compliance, excellent organizational and office management skills, and a strong attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with recruiting database management software such as ACS, Front Rush, ARMS, HUDL or other services is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Demonstrated skill and creativity in graphic design with Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with various social media platforms.
• Desire to continually update personal computing, communications and information technology knowledge and skills.
• Ability to interact and successfully collaborate with a broad spectrum of contributing groups including Football coaches and support staff, prospective students, parents, and others.
