Job Description

The Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the College of Education and Human Development seeks candidates for a full-time, non-tenure track appointment beginning fall of 2023. The appointment is for a Clinical Assistant Professor of Curriculum & Instruction. Successful candidates will teach undergraduate level courses in general topics of education such as pedagogy, curriculum, classroom management, and content methods courses. The regular teaching load is 4/4. Summer teaching assignments may be available for additional pay but are not guaranteed. Teaching assignments may include day, night, and/or weekend classes.

Education and Experience:

• Doctoral Degree from a regionally accredited institution in Curriculum & Instruction or a related field in education

• K-12 teaching experience with K-12 teacher certification

• University teaching experience for a minimum of 3 years

Preferred Education and Experience:

• University teaching experience for a minimum of 5 years

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations

• Experience with instructional technologies such as learning management systems and e- portfolios
