The mission of the Maurice A. Since 1970, Hofstra Law has provided more than 13,000 students with an education rich in both the theory and experiential skills needed to produce outstanding lawyers, business executives, and community leaders. The Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University is pleased to invite applications for Associate Professor of Law. The Associate Professor of Law will be responsible but not limited to, the following:

  • Teaching interests in Torts, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Health Law, Civil Procedure and Criminal Law
  • Also interested in those with research and teaching interests in Environmental Law, Real Estate, Bankruptcy, Commercial Law
  • Strong Commitment to scholarship
  • Enhancing diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging among the faculty and student populations.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree
  • Successful candidates will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion in an educational environment
