Examines academic records of students to determine eligibility for graduation or for admission to college, university, or graduate school.

Major/Essential Functions
  • Represents TTUHSC School of Health Professions to prospective students, current students, staff, and faculty to attract quality applicants and achieve enrollment goals.
  • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail, organization, collaboration, and flexibility.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of basic SHP program admission requirements and processes, and general knowledge of all processing responsibilities, utilizing appropriate resources for reference.
  • Complete assigned duties with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Utilize time management skills to prioritize workload, ensuring departmental deadlines are met.
  • Evaluate admission applications to determine prerequisite course fulfillment and degree requirements.
  • Compare degree requirements and contents of courses offered with those of other colleges and universities.
  • Assist in answering phones and fielding questions about programs and applications.
  • Assist with application processing, new student onboarding, enrollment management, recruitment, marketing,  and student affairs daily processes and projects as needed.
  • Assist with SHP special events.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality for applicants, current students, faculty and staff; both in accessing and releasing confidential information.
  • Maintain the ability to work well with co-workers, faculty, staff, and students, provide excellent customer service and multitask with ease.
  • Support new initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the University and SHP by performing other duties as assigned.
  • Analyze college transcripts to determine eligibility for admissions.
  • Demonstrate integrity, professional maturity, commitment, and accountability according to the five values described in our Values-Based Culture: One Team, Kind Hearted, Integrity, Visionary, and Beyond Service.
