Position Summary:The responsibilities of Garden and Grounds Assistants involve gardening and maintenance activities such as planting, weeding, mowing, and pruning. Assistants work alongside Garden Curators and Grounds Staff in maintaining formal gardens, trails, and natural areas gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position:Gardening and maintenance experience.
Physical Demands:Working outside during adverse weather conditions. Strenuous physical activity including but not limited to mulching, weeding, raking, digging, and planting.
