RCB Career Management Services is seeking a senior-level  Director: Strategic Partnerships and Immersive Programs to lead and manage our growing portfolio of strategic partnerships and immersive programs.

HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO

The ideal candidate will report directly to the Assistant Dean, Strategic Partnerships and Career Advancement, this role works closely with our dean, executive team, academic leaders across the University, top employers, and strategic partners. In addition, they manage an Associate Director and Manager of Immersive Program and will:

    Work effectively as part of the SP/IP/CAC leadership team (Asst. Dean and Directors), lead and manage staff, and develop strong relationships with key employers, faculty, and staff throughout the college, across campus, and in the broader community to ensure the SP/CAC unit is effectively communicating our program offerings, assessing existing services, identifying future needs, and leveraging technology to reach our goals.  Collaborate closely with the Asst. Dean and other Career Advancement unit leaders proactively research, identify, plan, and implement existing immersive programs and talent recruitment events. The person in this role must also possess the creativity and drive to innovate new models.Work closely with the Career Advancement leadership team to facilitate external engagement across Robinson, and the University as needed to ensure strategic partnerships, signature programs, key employer relationships, new initiatives, and externally sponsored activities foster new and expand existing relationships across the college and beyond.Work closely with the Asst—Dean for Strategic Partnerships and Career Advancement to support talent requests from Strategic Partners.  Examples include but are not limited to connections to key faculty, staff, and student organizations, resume referrals, campus Interviews, information sessions, and access to resume books.Participate in CAC unit-wide events and represent RCB and the CAC unit on university committees relating to employer development at local, state, regional, and national meetings.This person in this role will collaborate with the RCB dean’s leadership team, academic leaders, and staff professionals to strategically leverage existing relationships and identify new opportunities to nurture and develop strategic partnership engagement on a college and potentially university-wide to build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships based upon a culture of trust, collaboration and execution, and value creation.
In addition, as part of the continuing evolution and growth of the college, this role aligns with Accelerate 2025, the Colleges strategic plan, which calls for the development of additional external partnerships.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

    Bachelor’s degree in business or education or a related field and six years of related supervisory/management experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Preferred Hiring Qualifications:

    High personal standards of customer service, professionalism, and maturity are required.Prior experience and solid track record as a leader in one of the following areas: Employer Relations, University Recruiting, Career Management, Admissions, Advancement, and Business Development/Sales/Marketing.Other valuable attributes include excellent organizational, personnel, and administrative management skills; and experience working effectively with faculty, University administrators, and advisory board members.Experience working with faculty, University administrators, and advisory board members preferred.

    Exceptional degree of emotional intelligence and ability to establish credibility, work collaboratively, and influence outcomes with a wide range of stakeholders.Outstanding relationship skills and building rapport with internal and external constituents.Ability to maintain composure, humor, and a positive attitude during lengthy periods of high-volume work.Highly motivated self-starter who works well independently.Willingness to travel 20% local to global as needed is required.Schedule flexibility to include occasional evenings, early mornings, and weekends is required.This position may also assume other duties as assigned.
