The E. Craig Wall Sr. College of Business Administration at Coastal Carolina University invites applications for a full-time lecturer position in economics beginning August 2023.The individual hired for this position will have responsibilities in teaching and service. The teaching load is five courses per semester, primarily at the 100- and 200-level. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the individual will also be responsible for mentoring undergraduate students, contributing to assessment of student learning outcomes, and engaging in other activities within the department, college, campus, community, and profession.
The ideal candidate will have at minimum a master’s degree in economics or closely related field from an AACSB-accredited or regionally accredited institution. Candidates should have the expertise and experience, significant in duration and responsibility, qualifying them to teach courses in the areas of economics principles, personal finance, and global economic issues.
Relevant professional experience must be current at the time of hire. Applicants must have abilities, skills and enthusiasm consistent with teaching excellence and instructional innovation.

Accredited by AACSB International, the Wall College of Business serves more than 2,400 graduate and undergraduate students and has faculty members represented by six academic disciplines: Accounting, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Hospitality and Resort Tourism. The Department of Finance and Economics serves nearly 500 majors across three concentrations in finance: banking and consumer finance, corporate finance, and wealth management, as well as a major in economics. The department also supports minors in commercial and investment real estate, economics, actuarial science and risk management, and a certificate in financial planning.
