The Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Human Physiology and Nutrition from which future appointments to temporary, non-tenure track positions will be made. Appointments are part-time (less than 50% time) and will be made semester-by-semester.
The position is responsible for teaching various courses for the Department of Human Physiology and Nutrition. Specialties include anatomy, physiology, nutrition, and exercise science.

Work Location: Typically, on-site; position may be partially remote, based on the semester-to-semester need of the department, as determined by the supervisor.
Remote work will be available for emergency events. This will be offered based on the emergency and allowance will come from leadership and the guidelines provided at the time of the emergency.
This position has been determined to be exempt from the overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
What We Offer:
Salary Range: Pay dependent on number of courses taught. Generally starting at $1,333 per credit hour

- Master's degree or higher in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, exercise science or closely related area; OR a Master's degree or higher in another field (i.e. education) with at least 18 graduate credit hours in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, or exercise science.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous college teaching experience.
- Professional certifications (e.g. CSCS, ACSM, RD).
