Job Summary
Perform a variety of basic multi-craft tasks in the general maintenance and repairs of equipment and buildings, including installation, repair, and replacement of electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Perform building-related basic construction and fabrication work. This position will interact on a consistent basis with area maintenance staff and contractors. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise NA.
Job Duty 1 -
Perform basic installation, repair, and replacement of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC system components.
Job Duty 2 -
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of buildings; inspect assigned buildings/related fixtures, mechanical equipment, machines, and other structural components.
Job Duty 3 -
Transport tools, equipment, and personnel to and from the job site.
Job Duty 4 -
Obtain equipment and supplies required to complete assignments.
Job Duty 5 -
May coordinate contractor service delivery.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
High school diploma, GED Certificate or Vocational School Diploma
Required Experience
Two to three years of job related experience
Starting Hourly Range at: $16.32/hr
Job Grade: C5
Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesSKILLS
Position requires the ability to operate hand/power tools, motor vehicles (may include forklifts), and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment. Basic working knowledge in equipment maintenance, repair, and building construction support and maintenance is required. The use of specialized computer applications may be required.
