Job Details

PCC is hiring a full-time, tenure-track, student-centered Business Administration Instructor commencing with the 2023-24 academic year. Ten months, 100% - Tenure-track positions beginning August 2023. The primary emphasis of the position will be courses in business administration, finance, business communications, and business management.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE BUSINESS ADMINSTRATION INSTRUCTOR:
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's degree in business, business management, business administration, finance, or marketing.
OR
- Bachelor's degree in any of the above AND Master's degree in economics, personnel management, public administration, or Juris Doctorate (J.D.).
OR
- Valid California Community College Instructor Credential
OR
- The equivalent
Degree must be shown as conferred on transcript. Some degrees may require equivalency. When equivalency is requested, the file will be reviewed by PCC's Equivalency Committee. It is the applicant's responsibility to provide ample documentation to support equivalent qualifications.
Official transcripts are required upon offer of employment. Foreign transcripts and degrees require official certification of equivalency to U.S. transcripts and degrees by a certified U.S. review service at the time of application.
