Job Summary Georgia Gwinnett College is now accepting applications for part-time faculty positions in Spanish in the School of Liberal Arts for the academic year 2023-2024.Part-Time faculty positions are semester-based positions and report directly to the Department Chair. Courses may be conducted in various delivery modes, such as face-to-face, online, hybrid and/or blended formats. These positions are on an as-needed basis. require additional time outside of class to provide written feedback to students and to meet individually with students throughout the semester. Part-Time faculty may teach in the fall, spring, and/orsummer semesters.Working Arrangement: Flexible with in-office days, Faculty will be expected to attend new hire orientation and department meetings in person.Classes at Georgia Gwinnett College are offered morning, afternoon and evening including weekends.Review of applications will begin April 1, 2023, and continue until the position is filled.Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours (or 27 quarter hours) in the teaching discipline
• Terminal degree in the teaching discipline
• 1-year college-level teaching
• Highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a diverse population of students.
• Sustained professional engagement that demonstrates relevance and currency in the field of teaching.

Position requires local travel. Ability to lift and carry files and materials. Ability to move from one office to another office on campus.
