LOCATION: Green Bay - Position requires availability to instruct on campus and in flexible delivery modes.
HOURS: Flexibility in schedule is required for day, night or weekend classes as needed.
MINIMUM STARTING SALARY RANGE: $45,181--$54,693/year based on industry and individual experience. Position will receive full benefits along with a 75% standard 176-day workload obligation.
For applicants interested in pursuing this faculty fellowship track (hired not meeting all the minimum educational/work experience requirements), the fellow will have a reduced teaching schedule to provide the time needed to pursue obtaining these requirements within three years of acceptance into the fellowship.

The Faculty Fellowship Program is an ideal opportunity to make an impact and gain a valuable teaching experience. The Faculty Fellowship program offers an opportunity for an aspiring instructor to teach, participate in professional development training opportunities (e.g., Instructor Preparation Academy, Faculty Quality Assurance), be assigned a mentor, receive tuition reimbursement, and obtain an insider’s perspective on navigating instructing at NWTC. The selected individual will also participate in the creation of an Individual Development Plan. This plan covers performance expectations and measures identified in NWTC’s Faculty Progression Structure (course success data, learner feedback, team action plan progress, self-reflection, and ongoing development) in the areas of subject matter expertise, instructional excellence, student success, and career aspirations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Education:
- Master’s Degree in related field. Must have completed a Bachelor degree in a related field.
Occupational Experience:
- Minimum four years current classroom experience in a K-12 environment.
- At a minimum, occupational experience must have occurred at least 1 year within the last 5 years. (Work experience must include working closely with educational paraprofessionals, including having paraprofessionals assigned to them in the classroom. Work experience should also be recent and extensive working in the pre-K through 12th grade or special education classroom.) Department of Public Instruction certification strongly preferred.
**For a Faculty Fellow, an exception could be made to allow for completion of a Master’s degree and/or for the attainment of the occupational experience during the fellowship program.
Other Requirements:
- Demonstrated successful experience with alternate delivery methods including online, accelerated, and blended preferred. Online teaching and learning experience preferred.Use of technology that is currently used in the K-12 classroom preferred. Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the District’s standard liability policy.Must undergo a Criminal Background Check required by law.
