Full-Time Nursing Faculty (Rancho Cucamonga Location) Full-Time Nursing Faculty (Rancho Cucamonga Location) Assistant Professor, specialty area of Medical Surgical Assistant Professor, specialty area of Medical Surgical Concordia University, Irvine, Calif., seeks applicants for a full-time nursing faculty position in the School of Health and Human Sciences Department of Nursing, Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Seeking candidates in the specialty area of Medical Surgical, Geriatrics. Responsibilities will include teaching foundational and upper-division online courses, supervising students in clinical/lab settings, and student advising. Position Requirements Position Requirements
  • Must have a clear and current license to practice as a RN in the state of California.
  • Hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing or related Doctoral Degree (PhD, DNP, EDD)
  • Must be faculty approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing prior to assuming teaching responsibilities in pre-licensure courses.
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a staff nurse.
  • Must have current knowledge and experience (within 5 years) to teach within an area of specialized nursing.
  • Previous experience in online teaching in an ADN or BSN program.
  • Previous teaching in an ADN or BSN program is preferred.
