Educational and Experience Requirement:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Educational Technology or related field. Two years of Learning Management System (LMS) experience required; demonstrated experience and proficiency working with Cornerstone OnDemand (CSOD) Talent Management Suite (Core, Learning, and Performance) is preferred. Basic HTML knowledge and webpage administration skills. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.

Nature & Purpose of Position:

Serves as primary Learning Management System (LMS) administrator and is responsible for all aspects of functionality, including maintenance, implementation of new features, data reporting, troubleshooting, enhancements, and vendor and team liaising. Provides expertise in understanding the Cornerstone Talent Management Suite and creates technical solutions for maximizing its use to assist university staff in achieving their full potential.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provides ongoing maintenance support for Cornerstone Talent Management suite and troubleshoots issues related to product applications, functions, integration, and configuration. Understands multiple products from the Cornerstone Talent Management suite and finds solutions to technical issues, resolving technical and functional problems of varied complexity. Manages new releases ensuring that the organization is capitalizing on new features and functionality. Maintains relationships with internal IT and external vendor support teams to escalate, troubleshoot, and manage support requests. Maintains accounts for all user types, including the creation of associate administrators and instructor roles per approval of the Senior HR Manager for Professional Development and Communication. Aids the Senior HR Manager for Professional Development and Communication in maintaining tutorials for staff and management on utilization of the LMS, including system upgrades or new features. Provides training on system features to end-users, instructors, and associate administrators as required. Increases technical expertise by reading technical documentation, self-driven discovery of the product features, and attending training sessions. Develops and implements standard procedures and processes for LMS maintenance. Prepares customized and regularly scheduled reports and assists with the creation, maintenance, and distribution of training or performance management-related reports. Supports other organizational priorities as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Other Specifications:

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and quickly learn new applications, software, and tools. Ability to build deep technical understanding of Learning and Performance products to become an Expert. Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work autonomously. Consistently takes the lead on projects and looks for ways to improve and enhance the products in the suite. Proficient with MS Office 365, Zoom, basic HTML, and Learning Management Systems. Strong data analysis, evaluation, and reporting skills. Detailed oriented with analytical thinking ability. Must be professional, well spoken, and able to interact with customers at all levels. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to assist with ad-hoc projects within the team and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Up to 40% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
