Educational and Experience Requirement:Bachelor’s degree in counseling or related field. Two years relevant administrative/management experience in counseling or related field. Knowledge of mental health services, training, licensure, and accreditation are desired. A combination of education, experience, and training that would produce the required knowledge and abilities could be considered.
Nature & Purpose of Position:Assists with students’ clinical experiences for the Department of Counselor Education.
Primary Responsibilities:Performs administrative support duties for department. Manages and facilitates applications and usage for web-based platform Supervision Assist. Oversees onboarding and policies/processes related to Supervision Assist. Prepares student orientations to clinical experiences and supervision assist usage. Monitors student progress during clinical experiences. Oversees internship sites, supervisor compliance, and vets for appropriateness. Requires frequent communication with Director of Clinical Experiences and faculty training. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Requires knowledge and familiarity of university processes, counseling training and accreditation, and web-based platform management. Ability to handle large volume of data oversight with timeliness. Performs complex tasks and working independently toward identified results. Must be able to work collaboratively with coworkers and provide high level of customer (students, internship sites and supervisors) service always.
Up to 80% of this position, over the fiscal year during off-peak periods, may be performed remotely as determined by the supervisor.
