Description:
The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry is seeking a Full-time Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to fill the role of Department Chair of Restorative Sciences. Primary responsibilities include supervision of divisions within Restorative Sciences (Comprehensive Care, Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Operative Dentistry, Dental Biomaterials and a one-year residency program- Advanced Education in General Dentistry), administrative duties, plus didactic, pre-clinical, and clinical courses for our undergraduate dental program. Intramural faculty practice, and research are encouraged. Faculty are expected to be actively involved with University committees, continuing education and outreach, along with other tasks assigned by the Dean of the College.
Successful applicants will join a team committed to quality educational programs and a broad spectrum of clinical care. The OU College of Dentistry has recently committed to digital dentistry integration. The successful candidate will play a vital role in this effort.

Loan Repayment programs may be available for full time faculty dependent upon state funding. Evaluations of applicants will be begin immediately. Applications will be reviewed as received.
Qualifications:
Qualifications require a D.D.S./D.M.D. degree from an ADA accredited dental school and eligibility for licensure in Oklahoma. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Participation in intramural practice is available.
