Position Summary
The Sturm College of Law is accepting applications for adjunct faculty for Summer and Fall 2023. Adjunct faculty positions are non-benefited positions. Adjunct faculty are required to teach as scheduled, hold office hours, assign papers and exams as appropriate and be available to assist students with assignments. Adjunct faculty are required to comply with all University of Denver COVID-19 protocols. The Sturm College of Law operates on a semester system.
This is a non-benefited position not to exceed 1,000 hours in a calendar year.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree
- Ability to teach at the university level
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous law school teaching experience
- College-level teaching experience
Work Schedule
While the Universitys administrative offices are open Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, faculty schedules vary from term to term and are based on courses taught, service commitments, and research agendas. Course Rate
The compensation for this position will be between $3,146 and $5,244, depending on the number of credits for the class taught.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates sex or any other protected status.
