Department of Microbial Pathogenesis

The Department of Microbial Pathogenesis at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry is recruiting a non-tenure track investigator at the Research Assistant Professor level. Candidates with a demonstrated interest in defining the role of bacterial and host lipids in host-pathogen interactions using advanced analytical techniques including mass spectrometric imaging are encouraged to apply. Must demonstrate a strong publication record of technological development within the mass spectrometry discipline. A strong documented history of collaborative interdisciplinary research is required. Teaching experience in graduate level (or equivalent) microbiology and immunology is preferred but not required.Qualifications
QualificationsMinimum qualifications: MD, DDS or PhD in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry (or closely related field) with at least 4 years of post-graduate research experience.The Position will be available until filled.
