Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:

This is a 100% teaching appointment. Service, club management and (or) advising activities could be considered to reduce the teaching load. Primary teaching responsibilities will include courses in wildlife management including principles of wildlife management, game animal production, habitat and pond management, game birds and waterfowl and other related wildlife management and production courses. Teaching responsibilities may also include other animal science or related courses on an as needed basis. Excellent communication skills and the ability to teach traditional and online courses is expected. The successful applicant will contribute to our growing undergraduate program in Wildlife Management.

Educational Requirements for the Position:

A Master of Science or earned Doctorate in Wildlife Management, Animal Science, Range Science, or closely related field from an accredited University is required. ABD candidates may be considered.

Experience Required for the Position:

Candidates must have experience in the field of wildlife with proven industry experience in managing and (or) working with wildlife with the ability to teach college level courses. Teaching experience in principles of wildlife management, game animal production, habitat and pond management, game birds, waterfowl and other related wildlife management and production courses is expected.
