The Johns Hopkins Hospital- Bloomberg 9 South, Infant and Toddler Care is a 20-bed intermediate care unit that cares for medical/surgical patients between 0-4 years of age, and trached/vented patient up to the age of 9. The unit specializes in the care of cardiac/cardiac surgery and urological surgery patients. Other specialty services include GI, Pulmonary, Renal, and general pediatric services; and a variety of surgical services, such as Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastic, and General Pediatric Surgery. Patients are cared for by an interdisciplinary team that consists of nurses, physicians, social workers, case managers, child life specialists and other dedicated ancillary staff. Shifts: 12 hour night shifts

What Awaits You:

Who Should Apply:
  • BSN/MSN preferred. Associated degree candidates encouraged to apply!
  • Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program may be considered; provided they are enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within 1 year of hire and complete the degree within 5 years of hire
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification required: AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted
  • RN work experience required - pediatric experience preferred
