Job Details
The primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, providing administrative program support for the Upward Bound Math and Science Center.
This position requires a high school diploma and relevant program experience. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required program experience. Preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree and one (1) year of relevant program experience, or an associate degree and three (3) years of relevant program experience, or a high school diploma and five (5) years of relevant program experience.
Experience with federal grants is preferred. Successful candidate will have advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 Office, BLUMEN software and internet design. Experience managing a database system and producing monthly reports in a timely manner is critical. Excellent analytical, verbal and writing skills are essential. The ability to work with diverse customers and staff is a plus. Candidate will manage multiple priorities while exercising sound judgment and discretion while working within grant and institutional policies and guidelines. The ability to troubleshoot and problem solve is a must. Must have excellent organizational skills to run effective and efficient office operations.
