Program Coordinator, O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law - Georgetown University Law Center

The O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law was established in 2007 through the generous philanthropy of Linda and Timothy O'Neill to respond to the need for innovative solutions to the most pressing global health concerns. In bringing together experts from both the public health and legal fields, the O'Neill Institute reflects the importance of public and private law in health policy analysis.

Job Overview

The Program Coordinator enables smooth functioning of the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law and its Initiatives, and assists the Institute and Initiatives staff and leadership with project and administrative needs.

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Program Coordinator supports the operations of the O'Neill Institute as a whole and is responsible for a range of administrative tasks and functional areas, including event coordination and management, travel booking and logistics for staff and external partners, financial tracking, invoice processing, budget reconciliation, general research, writing, and copy editing.

As well, they manage several processes to include:
  • Administrative processes, memos, and other associated Institute materials
  • Event and meeting logistics for Initiative's year-round, domestic and international programming
  • Initiative contracts management, project management and storage software


Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
  • Excellent skills in multitasking and detail orientation
  • Creative and intuitive problem-solver
  • Demonstrated professionalism
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and working knowledge of both Microsoft Windows and Apple operating systems


Preferred qualifications
  • Experience as an executive assistant or in other support position
  • Skilled in managing information, contacts, and calendars, as well as booking travel, and meeting and event planning
