Adjunct Instructors for Developmental Math
Type of Position:Faculty
Responsibilities:Teach developmental mathematics to prepare students for success in college level math. Provide quality and innovative instruction; assignments may include day or evening classes; effectively mentor and advise students; supply professional leadership in curriculum; serve on departmental committees; continue professional development; other duties as may be required.
Qualifications:Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree with experience teaching H.S. or College Math. Experience with developmental education and community college teaching preferred. Must demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of students from diverse backgrounds, willingness to use non-traditional instructional methods, ability to work with students individually and in small groups, understanding of learning strategies, and experience using technology in Math instruction. Must demonstrate writing and speaking competencies. Must comply with established college standards and policies.

Two-year academic programs are offered in business, communication, computer science, criminal justice, education, liberal arts, theater, natural science and sociology. Thirty technical programs are available, leading to associate of applied science degrees, certificates of completion and institutional awards.
