Adjunct Instructor of Computer Science/Information Technology
Type of Position:Faculty
Responsibilities:Teach students in the classroom, computer skills, hardware, cyber-security, programming languages; visual basic, Java, HTML, etc., MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint software.
Qualifications:Doctorate or Master’s degree in the teaching discipline or Master’s degree with a concentration in the teaching discipline (a minimum of 18 hours in the teaching discipline).
Must comply with established College standards and policies.
$800 per credit hour

Lamar State College Orange currently has a student body of approximately 2,648. Two-year academic programs are offered in business, communication, computer science, criminal justice, education, liberal arts, theater, natural science and sociology. These academic programs lead to associate of science degrees and will transfer to four-year institutions for students seeking baccalaureate degrees. Thirty technical programs are available, leading to associate of applied science degrees, certificates of completion and institutional awards. Some of these degrees include process operating and industrial technology, instrumentation, and medical office. Customized training programs to meet the needs of local business and industry and offered through the Continuing and Workforce Education Department.
