Job Details
The Building Coordinator for the South Carolina Aeronautical Training Center (SCATC) reports directly to the Director of the SCATC. The primary responsibilities are for the facility's information and customer service functions and providing administrative and logistical support for all SCATC functions that include but are not limited to workforce training programs, recruitment, and event planning located at the SCATC. This position will also support outreach related to the Division of Engineering & Construction programs.
This position requires a high school diploma and work experience that is directly related to the area of employment. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the related work experience. Preferred candidate will have a bachelor's degree plus one (1) year of related work experience; or, an associate degree plus two (2) years of related work experience.
Preferred QualificationsA strong background in customer service and an excellent foundation of interpersonal skills and networking experience. Demonstrated experience managing administrative tasks under limited supervision and in an extremely visible setting. Strong organization skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex problems, and work independently and as part of a team are critical. Experience working with large groups and/or K-12 students is a plus. The successful candidate must be poised and professional at all times and represent the college while working with a wide array of individuals. Sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations are essential.
