Job Summary:
This position reports to the Director of Grants and Contracts Pre-Award Administration in the office of Research. This position will provide pre-award support and assistance to faculty in the development,review, and submission of all federal, state, and private grant and contractapplications and other external funding opportunities. This position will support the pre-award operations and assist with the grant hand-off to post-award grant operations.

Ability to lift, carry push, and pull 20 pounds, stoop, reach, stand,walk, finger, grasp, feel, talk, hear, see, and perform repetitive motions withor without reasonable accommodations.

Position Qualifications:

Required:
-Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
-Two (2) years of experience
-Valid Driver's License
-On Dec. 7, 2021, a federal judge temporarily blocked the implementation of the federal contractor vaccination mandate and its associated guidance. Following the injunction, Oklahoma State University has, consistent with applicable law, paused the vaccination mandate. Please be aware this injunction may be lifted at a later date and will require all employees to be fully vaccinated or receive an approved accommodation as a condition of employment.

Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
Demonstrated organizational skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, anddecision-making skills. Excellent communication skills, both written andoral. Demonstrated time management skills; ability tomanage multiple assignments with tight, concurrent deadlines and with frequentinterruptions. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability towork in collegial, supportive manner with faculty and staff, including theability to interact effectively in a culturally and ethnically diversecommunity. Proficient with MS Office applications(Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and internet.

Preferred:
-Experience with Cayuse
-Designation of Certified Research Administrator (CRA), CertifiedPre-Award Administrator (CPRA), or Certified Financial Research Administrator(CFRA)

Oklahoma State University-Center for Health Sciences was founded in 1972 and is home to the College of Osteopathic Medicine, as well as graduate programs in forensics, biomedicine, healthcare and athletic training.   Our core business is education; and it takes more than 500 faculty and staff members to run our institution.  Our mission is to educate and train osteopathic physicians, research scientists and other healthcare professionals with an emphasis on serving rural and underserved Oklahomans.  We offer more than 10 different specialty clinics to care for patients in the area.
