Gift Receipting Coordinator POSITION SUMMARY: The gift receipting coordinator is responsible for gift receipting, tracking, and reporting of all contributions made to the institution; database maintenance and report generation; interfacing with payroll coordinator in human resources to process faculty/staff contributions through payroll; administrative assistance for other advancement personnel as needed. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Database maintenance and gift receipting (Jenzabar preferred), Microsoft Office (Word and Excel required), Google platform (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets preferred), query and report writing (InfoMaker preferred), accounting background and CMS/Web content experience helpful. Experience in an advancement/development office preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Must be detail-oriented, accurate and organized, understand basic financial/accounting concepts, strong written and oral communicator, self-starter. Must relate well to people, have pleasant and professional phone skills, handle multiple assignments, and be able to maintain confidentiality. Must be a team player who can work with minimal supervision. Must be committed to the mission of EMU and willing to participate in events on campus.
