Description:

The Department of Physiology seeks to expand its strengths in preclinical and translational physiology in cardiovascular and renal physiology, neuroscience, and metabolic diseases. Candidates will use whole-animal physiology, electrophysiology, and/or molecular and genetic tools to solve important biomedical problems in drug discovery, signaling, metabolism, and sex differences.  Applicants must be highly collaborative and integrate well with a growing number of researchers and physician scientists.


Qualifications:

Applicants should have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent degree and must have demonstrated exceptional scholarly success in your field. Successful applicant will receive a highly competitive start-up package commensurate with their experience.  Demonstration of sustained grant or equivalent support is required for appointment at a med-career or senior rank. Tenure status and rank of the position will be based on the qualifications of the applicant.
