Gettysburg College invites applications for a one-year (with the possibility of renewal) Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Department of Management to begin August 2023. The teaching load is three classes in the fall and three classes in the spring semesters. We will give strongest consideration to candidates who can demonstrate the ability to teach the introductory Marketing Management course for the Business, Organizations, and Management Major and Business Minor (see https://www.gettysburg.edu/academic-programs/management/programs/business-organizations-management-major). Successful candidates also will be responsible for teaching electives according to their areas of expertise and experience (e.g., market research, consumer behavior, etc.).
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. (or be ABD) in Business, Management, Marketing, or related fields. Candidates must be committed to interdisciplinary teaching in the liberal arts tradition, and demonstrate through their teaching and scholarship that they can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our community.
