This position has the opportunity to be located at either our Larimer Campus in Fort Collins, CO or our Westminster Campus in Westminster, CO. Who We AreWith three campuses along Colorado’s Front Range, FRCC is the state’s largest community college. We’re looking to hire people who share these values—along with our commitment to student success, equity and excellence.Who You AreAs a full-time faculty member in the Information Technologies Department you provide instruction in all levels, including certificate and/or transfer levels. You work individually, as well as in collaboration with colleagues, to develop innovative curriculum which meets the needs of our diverse population of students. Student retention and success is your top priority. You will utilize technology and effective teaching strategies to develop students’ critical thinking skills.

As a full-time Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Networking faculty, you will teach four to five Cybersecurity, Cloud, and Networking courses per semester online. Specific courses may include but are not limited to: A+ Certification Preparation, Networking I: Network +, Network Security Fundamentals, Virtual Environment Admin, Vulnerability Assessment, Firewalls/Network Security, Linux Configuration: (OS), Managing LAN Switches, Routers and Routing Protocols, Configuring Windows Server and Intro to Cloud Computing Concepts. Computer resources, provisioning, and maintenance will be a part of this position’s duties.Faculty are responsible for providing quality education including class instruction, class-related work, and performing other professional duties which may include, but are not limited to, advising students; mentoring and supporting part-time instructors; serving on institution-wide committees and statewide task forces; recruiting students; sponsoring student activities; providing job placement and community outreach services; participating in professional organizations which enhance the educational mission of the college; and developing innovative approaches to learning.

As a faculty member you act as a mentor for the part-time instructors. You serve as representative of the department by participating in committees, task forces, and events at the campus, college, and/or state levels. You may be asked to teach at different times, locations and modalities to meet the needs of the College.

Please note: This is an on-campus position with an opportunity for some remote work. You need to be a Colorado resident on your first day of employment. SALARY: $55,754 - $63,465/annually. Required Education/Training & Work Experience:

A related Associates (or a relevant current industry license or certification) and 4000 occupational/industry hours within 7 years.ORA Bachelor’s or Master’s with 18 discipline related credits and 2000 occupational/industry hours within 7 years.ANDDemonstrated knowledge and skills in networking infrastructure, cybersecurity, virtualization & cloud, and network administration (Microsoft & Linux).
