Job Details
Bryn Mawr College, located in suburban Philadelphia, PA, invites nominations and seeks applications for the Dean of Financial Aid. Reporting to the Chief Enrollment Officer, the Dean of Financial Aid serves on her senior team and provides leadership in developing overall enrollment goals, the administration of aid packaging, and state, federal and institutional compliance in disbursing aid.
Bryn Mawr, which ranks among the top colleges and universities nationwide in the percentage of its graduates who go on to earn a Ph.D., has long been known as the “Scholarly Sister” among the women’s colleges. Traditions of high expectations and academic excellence remain at the core of the College’s identity. Bryn Mawr has been non-denominational since its founding, but it embodies many of the values of its Quaker founders, including a deep respect for individual differences and a commitment to social justice. Bryn Mawr was the first institution in the country to grant its students responsibility for self-governance, and the experience of living under its Honor Code has a strong impact on students during their time on campus and throughout their lives.
