Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for part-time Adjunct Faculty Positions in Professional Development. The successful candidate will teach one or more ONLINE class sections on a semester-by-semester basis, pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success. Spartanburg Methodist College is committed to ensuring graduates achieve the career and economic outcomes that lead them to pursue a bachelor’s degree. Instructors teaching Professional Development coursework must possess a minimum of a master’s degree. The discipline of the master’s or doctoral degree may vary. Due to the workforce preparation requirements in the curriculum, Professional Development adjunct faculty should possess a minimum of five years of work experience in a professional environment. The successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, be familiar with best practices in a professional environment, have personnel or project management experience, and have experience as a teacher (or demonstrable promise thereof). Applicants are asked to send a cover letter, resume, and unofficial graduate transcripts with their application.
