The Board of Trustees of SUNY Broome Community College invites nominations and applications from experienced and collaborative leaders for the position of President at SUNY Broome Community College.  This is an ideal assignment for a visionary, energetic and forceful advocate who embraces access, equity and student success and advances the innovative pathways to higher education and the community college mission. The next president will propel SUNY Broome beyond the impact of the pandemic, position the college to achieve the next stage of evolution in its history, expand and diversify its reach by taking advantage of the growing acceptance of online instruction while carefully balancing the allure of virtual learning with the needs of the students, the commitment of a rural community college to serve urban and international students, and bring the vision, skills, unity, and integrity needed to guide this high quality college to higher levels of achievement.  SUNY Broome is at an important crossroad and is determined to continue to serve as a vital educational and economic driver for the community. The President serves as the chief academic and administrative officer, reporting to an appointed Board of Trustees and working within policies set by the State University of New York (SUNY).
